Transparent pricing

Pay per session.
No hidden fees.

TMP uses a simple pay-per-use model. You only pay when a patient session creates real integration value between a caregiver and a Transmural Data Provider.

€ 0.50 per session · caregiver
€ 0.50 per session · data provider

A model built for gradual adoption

No complex license models. No heavy upfront integration fees. No hidden platform lock-in. Just a clear usage-based price that grows with adoption.

🚀

Low barrier to start

Hospitals and data providers start without committing to large fixed platform fees. Lowers the threshold for pilots and gradual roll-out.

📊

Costs follow real usage

You only pay when TMP is actually used for a patient session. Pricing follows adoption, not expectations.

⚖️

Fair contribution from both sides

Caregivers and data providers both benefit from the shared integration layer. The model reflects that by splitting the contribution equally.

🔮

Predictable & transparent

The price per session is known upfront. Usage can be reported clearly, making budgeting and internal reporting straightforward.

🔗

Better than one-off integrations

Without TMP, every hospital-provider pair builds a separate integration - repeated costs and long cycles. TMP replaces this with one standard.

📈

Scales with the network

As more hospitals and providers join, the cost per connection goes down while the value of each session increases for everyone.

What is a patient session?

Pricing is built around the concept of a patient session - a concrete transmural care interaction supported through TMP.

One session. One price. Shared value.

A patient session represents a concrete transmural care interaction where a caregiver requests, starts, follows up, and receives information from a connected Transmural Data Provider through TMP.

A session can cover multiple days, weeks, or months depending on the care path. It is counted once for the caregiver side and once for the data provider side.

Note: Transmural Data Providers can configure their application to cover the full cost (caregiver and provider) if they prefer this model.

Caregiver selects provider in EHR Session starts
Patient context shared via TMP Hub SSO handoff
Provider monitors / delivers care Active
Structured results returned to EHR Result
Session complete - € 0.50 + € 0.50 Billed

Patient session pricing

A single, clear rate for both sides of the integration.

Stakeholder Price What it covers
Caregiver / Hospital € 0.50 / session Access to TMP Portal and TMP Console, Single Sign-On request flows, standardised patient context sharing, provider marketplace, workflow support, usage reporting.
Transmural Data Provider € 0.50 / session Access to TMP Hub, standardised data return flow, status updates, structured integration towards hospitals and EHRs, marketplace listing, usage reporting.

Secure data exchange via TMP Proxy

TMP offers an optional proxy feature that reduces burden on IT teams - whitelisting on fixed IPs becomes static instead of dynamic per provider. Charged per gigabyte of data transferred.

Feature Price Best for
TMP Proxy € 0.09 / GB Removing dynamic firewall rules, facilitating static IP whitelisting

What does it cost in practice?

Two concrete examples to illustrate how TMP pricing works at different scales.

Example 1 - 1,200 patient sessions / year

A hospital runs 100 patient sessions per month with connected providers. No proxy usage.

Stakeholder Calculation Monthly cost
Caregiver / Hospital 100 × € 0.50 € 50
Data Provider 100 × € 0.50 € 50
Total platform contribution (both sides) € 100 / month

Example 2 - 20 sessions + proxy enabled

20 patient sessions measuring with 50 MB of data each. TMP Proxy feature enabled.

Feature Calculation Cost
Caregiver / Hospital 20 × € 0.50 € 10.00
Data Provider 20 × € 0.50 € 10.00
TMP Proxy € 0.09 × 0.05 GB × 20 € 0.09
Total platform contribution (both sides + proxy) € 20.09

No hidden add-ons. The session fee covers full access to the relevant TMP layer for each stakeholder.

Pricing FAQ

What exactly is a patient session?
A patient session represents a concrete transmural care interaction where a caregiver requests, starts, follows up and receives information from a connected Transmural Data Provider through TMP. It can include the request flow, status follow-up and result availability depending on the care path and provider integration. It can cover multiple days, weeks or months.
Is the price charged to both the hospital and the data provider?
Yes. The standard model is € 0.50 per patient session for the caregiver side and € 0.50 per patient session for the Transmural Data Provider side. However, Transmural Data Providers can configure their application to cover the full cost (caregiver and data provider) if they prefer this model.
Why does TMP charge both sides?
Both sides benefit from the shared integration layer. Hospitals reduce integration complexity and receive standardised workflows. Data providers avoid repeated custom integrations and gain easier access to all participating hospitals. The pricing reflects that shared value equally.
Are there fixed onboarding costs?
The core model is usage-based - no separate onboarding costs are charged by TMP. TMP expects Transmural Data Providers to implement the required interface, so development costs on the provider's side may occur during integration.
Is proxy usage included in the patient session price?
No. Proxy usage is charged separately at € 0.09 per gigabyte because it depends on the actual data volume exchanged, which varies significantly by care path and provider.
Can pricing be different for very high-volume care paths?
For very high-volume or technically specific care paths, TMP may define specific pricing or contractual arrangements to keep the model fair and sustainable. Contact us to discuss.
How is usage reported?
TMP provides usage reporting based on measured patient sessions and, where applicable, proxy data volume. This supports transparent invoicing and internal reporting for both hospitals and data providers.
Can we start with a pilot?
Yes. The pay-per-use model is well suited for gradual onboarding, pilots, and scaling from a limited number of providers or care paths towards broader deployment. TMP can be used for any care path, reimbursed or not.
